Wojslaw Rysiewski commented on Mariusz Pudzianowski’s career in the KSW organization. The sports director has a positive assessment of what Pudzian has achieved in MMA.
Wojslaw Rysiewski was a guest in the studio of the FanSport portal. The main topic of the conversation was, of course, the upcoming KSW 100 event. During the conversation, host Michal Tuszynski also quoted the words of Andrzej Janisz. The experienced journalist said some time ago that he expected Mariusz Pudzianowski to achieve much more in MMA.
KSW‘s sports director has a different opinion. Wojslaw Rysiewski believes that the transition from the world of strongman to MMA was not an easy one, and looking at Pudzianowski’s achievements after many years he has a lot to be proud of.
– You know, I wouldn’t be so convinced. Well, always probably Mariusz, however, coming from another sport he had some limitations, also some physical ones that he could not overcome. Well, but in the end he won against Michal Materla, fought Mamed Khalidov, defeated several fighters who fought in the UFC.
– I would say he can boast… he was also one step away from fighting for the KSW heavyweight belt, so I think he really squeezed a lot out of this career. One can always talk and wonder if more could have been done whereas it seems to me that this is still a lot, what he has done (in MMA).
