Scarface gave an interview to the FanSportu portal. During the long conversation, Skiermanski commented, among other things, on the moment when Marcin Różalski announced his retirement. Scarface also explained his attitude towards Różalski.
Scarface admitted that he acted inelegantly towards Marcin Różalski, as he did not speak to him after Ró¿al announced his retirement after his fight with Mariusz Wach at the Strike King 3 gala. Sebastian Skiermanski explained his attitude towards the legendary fighter, with whom he had been sparring in the past.
– The moment when he grasps his throat when he said after the Strike King gala that he was retiring, I will honestly say that I cried then. I identify with that as much as I would if I were the one to end my career. I know that someday I will have to say it too.
– I don’t know how Marcin received it, I behaved in an inelegant way, but I didn’t even write a message after that. I treated him as I would like to be treated. What’s in my words that it will be fine, all good. What good? This is the end of his career. This is something terrible for an athlete. You know you have to say enough, and you love it. Since then I haven’t written, I didn’t even know what to write to him about it. I, for one, wouldn’t want any news. I’ll cry like a baby, but I don’t want a pat that it’s going to be okay.
