

Sebastian Przybysz defeated Bruno Azevedo at KSW 102 and became KSW champion in the bantamweight category again.
Sebastian Przybysz and Bruno Azevedo met in the fight of the evening at KSW 102 in Radom. The stake of the duel was the vacant KSW championship belt in the bantamaweight category. The title remained without an owner after Jakub Wikłacz decided to prematurely terminate his contract with the federation.
The clash between the ranking one and two graced the event in Radom. Which fighter proved to be better and reached for the champion’s belt of the up to 62 kilograms division?
At the beginning of the fight, both fighters exchanged low kicks. A lot of examination and touchdowns from both sides. Bruno Azevedo brought out a strong kick to the torso of the Pole. Definitely more kicks than boxing punches. Sebastian Przybysz attacks and hits more often. Very calm pace, no craziness. Definitely a first round for recognition.
Sebastian Przybysz started the second round by increasing the pace and stopping his opponent with front kicks and low kicks. Bruno Azevedo responded with the same. The Pole, however, bites more often and his kicks seem to be stronger. A wide left from the Brazilian, however, Sebić moved nicely out of the punch line and deflected the head. Azevedo lands on his back, and Sebastian dug around the legs of his lying rival. Unexpectedly, Azevedo broke free grabbed the Pole’s legs and very easily moved the fight to the mat by overlapping his back. Azevedo wanted to set up an arm triangle, but nothing came of it. The Brazilian finishes the round in dosa.
Bruno Azevedo is trying to shorten the distance and get close to the Pole again to stick to him and move the fight to the mat. The Brazilian again intercepted the leg and dragged Przybysz to the ground. Sebastian came out of it defensively, got up and tries to envelop his rival. Good boxing action by Sebic. Bruno Azevedo made another attempt to bring in, however, the former champion excelled in his defense. The newcomer is building a lead, and the Brazilian let off the hook. Two good lefts by Sebastian and a great short elbow stoppage. At the end of the round, Azevedo gained a takedown but ran out of time for more.
The championship rounds are about to begin. Nice accurate left by Przybysz. Good stopping right hand by Bruno Azevedo. The Brazilian enters the clinch looking to clinch to move the clash to the mat. Sebastian Przybysz turned the situation around nicely. An attack to the body by Sebic. Sebastian Przybysz fiercely attacks the Brazilian and smashes him with punches from the top, and when that fails he tries to pin a guillotine. The Pole turns up the pace and hits with hammerfists and elbows, but what a strong ground and pound.
Bruno Azevedo tried to pull out a guillotine, but Przybysz escaped nicely from a difficult position and started biting his rival with straights. The Brazilian hit and the Pole wobbled on his feet. The fighter from the coffee country goes for an overthrow, however, he failed to throw Przybysz to the mat. The former KSW champion excelled in his defense and tries to gain a dominant position himself. Azevedo dives into Sebastian’s legs. After the Pole’s unsuccessful action, Azevedo finds himself on top a minute and a half before the end of the fight. A good finish by Bruno however it is Przybysz who will win the fight on points. Sebastian Przybysz defeated Bruno Azevedo by unanimous decision of the judges.
