Shamil Musaev knocked out Magomed Umalatov making him the PFL welterweight champion and winning the $1 million prize.

Shamil Musaev and Magomed Umalatov faced each other in the PFL welterweight category play-off final at the grand championship gala in Riyadh. The Musaev vs Umalatov fight was part of the event’s main card, and the bout was contracted for five rounds.

Many fans rubbed their hands with the thought of a clash between Musaev and Umalatov, as both fighters were undefeated in professional MMA to date. It was therefore known that one of them would lose 0 on the record today. However, the stakes were definitely higher, as the PFL belt in the up to 77 kilogram category was at stake.
