Shara Magomedov openly admitted that Michael Bisping, the former middleweight champion, was a great inspiration and motivation for him to work hard. The Englishman suffered a serious eye injury in a clash with Vitor Belfort, unfortunately neither the doctors nor the fighter himself caught the injury right after the fight, but only many months later. Consequently, as time went on, Bisping almost completely lost the sight in one eye. Despite the adversity, a few years later Michael managed to win the UFC championship belt.
Bisping’s story proved extremely motivating for Dagestan Shara Magomedov, who said.
– It seems to me that all the opponents wanted to take advantage of the fact that my eyes are not fully functional. Speaking of Bisping, he is someone who has gone through this difficult path. You can say that he paved the path for more fighters. Now it’s easier for me to follow it, I don’t feel like I’m walking in the dark. Honestly the most important thing is what Bisping said, that you can achieve anything. The most important thing is not to stop, not to give up and move forward towards the set goal, you have to follow your dreams.
