UFC chief Dana White appeared at the prestigious White House Correspondents’ Association Dinner at the Washington Hilton Hotel. During the event, a dangerous incident occurred – one of the assailants allegedly tried to approach Donald Trump.
Fortunately, the situation was quickly brought under control. The perpetrator was apprehended even before he had time to threaten anyone present. Nonetheless, security forces immediately sprang into action, securing the area and escorting the president to safety. The whole incident caused quite a stir among the attendees.
Shortly after the whole incident, White spoke to reporters and shared his reaction to what happened on the ground. His words may come as a surprise to many.
– It suddenly became very noisy,” he reported. – Tables began to overturn, guests with guns rushed in and shouted “get down!”. I didn’t lay down. It was, k*cking amazing. I was soaking up every second. It was a really crazy and unique experience!

White also added that he sat very close to the president:
– We were practically right in front of the table where the president was sitting. No one knocked anyone to the ground, but the security people rushed in, looking for the assailant, and moved toward us. For a moment I thought the shooter was somewhere beside us.
The UFC chief knows well the realities of the work of Trump’s security services. In the near future, he will work with his security team to organize the UFC Freedom 250 gala, which will take place on June 14 on the White House grounds. The event promises to be one of the most logistically demanding – and most expensive – in the organization’s history.
