KSW’s sports director has revealed that tickets for the KSW 113 gala are selling better than for previous events in Lodz featuring Mariusz Pudzianowski.

The KSW federation’s final gala of the year, the KSW 113 event, will take place on December 20 at Atlas Arena. The fight card has been built on a strictly sporting lineup with two championship fights at the top.

The fight of the evening will feature Adrian Bartosinski, who will defend his belt in a bout with Muslim Tulshaev. In the second of the main clashes, Pawel Pawlak will return to action, facing the dangerous striker Laid Zerhouni for a title defense. Above that, the schedule also includes such fights as Szpilka vs Martinek and Michalski vs Janikowski.

Wojslaw Rysiewski, KSW’s sporting director, revealed on the Klatka po klatka program that tickets for KSW 113 are in high demand. According to Rysiewski, the organization has already secured more revenue than from most of the galas in Lodz, where Mariusz Pudzianowski fought.

– Even before the AJ vs. Lisek fight was announced, we already have better sales in terms of ticket numbers and gate receipts in Lodz compared to KSW 70 and KSW 64 galas, i.e. galas with Pudzian vs. Materla, and Pudzian vs. Bombardier fights. We are on track to surpass even earlier galas, namely KSW 47 with fights Pudzianowski vs Kolecki and De Fries vs Narkun. This we have worked out with our work and the names that have been announced so far, namely Adrian Bartosinski, Pawel Pawlak, Artur Szpilka and the rest of the participants in the main fights.

KSW’s sporting director later explained that more than 8,000 tickets were sold before the AJ vs Lisek fight was announced. Those fond of statistics will probably be quick to point out that just over 10,000 fans can enter the stands of Atlas Arena, with the addition of seats on the tarmac.

So why such a good result and revenue from ticket sales? Well, it’s not hard to guess that it’s the price of individual tickets. At the moment, the cheapest tickets are available for 140 zloty, while seats on the apron in sectors closer to the cage cost more than 600 zloty, and there are also those for which you have to pay more than 2000 pln.
