Mariusz Grabowski addressed the high-profile topic of the Fight Mode organization and statements made by Lukasz “Juras” Jurkowski. The head of GROMDY made his first public comment on the whole commotion during a visit to the FANSPORT TV studio.
The GROMDA 25 gala will take place this Friday, May 29, and the organization has again prepared a mix of tournament excitement, brutal bare-knuckle fights and extra fights. The highlight of the event will be the clash between “LUTY” and “ZIOMUS” for the first NITRO category belt in the history of the federation.
You can watch the GROMDA 25 gala live exclusively on PPV at gromda.tv.
In recent days, however, a lot of fans’ attention has been drawn to the new Fight Mode organization. The project has caused discussions in the circles from the beginning, and additional excitement arose after Lukasz “Juras” Jurkowski was announced as one of the faces of the federation. The former KSW fighter, in an interview with MMA-BNB, assured that Fight Mode does not want to compete with GROMDA and rather cares about the peaceful coexistence of the two projects.
Some fans, however, quickly began to pay attention to the circumstances of the premiere gala of the new organization. The event featured, among others, Vasyl Halych and Artur “BICEK” Kubiak, fighters well known to GROMDA fans. On top of that, the gala took place exactly one week before GROMDA 25 – at a time when Grabowski’s organization was ramping up the promotion of its event.
GROMDA chief speaks out on Fight Mode
For a long time Mariusz Grabowski avoided public comment on the whole commotion. This only fueled further speculation and discussion among combat sports fans.
Eventually, however, the head of GROMDA decided to address the issue during an interview in the studio of FANSPORT TV. Grabowski responded to both the comments made by Internet users and the earlier statements made by Lukasz Jurkowski. He also explained why he had previously refused to speak on the subject.
Although there has been a lot of media buzz around Fight Mode and GROMDA, Mariusz Grabowski’s organization is currently focusing primarily on the GROMDA 25th anniversary gala. The federation promises a strong Bloody Friday and wants to show once again that it remains the strongest bare fist fighting brand in Poland.
