Tom Aspinall is ambling on the mat to be at his best on November 16. Although at this point there is no news of an injury to one of the participants in the evening’s fight, the interim champion is doing everything to be ready to step in as a replacement.
Tom Aspinall answered fans’ questions on social media. The 31-year-old fighter told fans that he had recently spoken with the UFC and the organization has some plans for his return. Aspinall announced that there will be a big news story about his next fight soon.
– I am training to be a reserve fighter for Jon’s fight with Stipe. Do I think anything will actually happen? Most likely not. However, I will be ready if there was to be a change. I also spoke with the UFC recently. We already have some plans. I can’t reveal them yet, because they are top secret, but there will be a big news story soon.
Tom Aspinall has won 11 of his last 12 fights before time. The English representative lost just one fight during that time after a fatal knee injury that ruled him out of UFC competition for a year. Currently, Tom has a string of three straight wins after first-round knockouts.
