Friday evening brought some surprising news for boxing fans. Tyson Fury doesn’t intend to wait long for his next fight and will return to the ring in less than a month. Interestingly, his opponent is set to be former title challenger Mariusz Wach.
After another loss to Oleksandr Usyk, many believed that Tyson Fury had definitively closed the chapter on his professional boxing career. Anthony Joshua will face off against Kristian Prenga on July 25. Tyson Fury is set to step into the ring the day before, according to the renowned magazine *The Ring*.
According to these reports, the former WBC world champion will fight on July 24, 2026, at an event held at the Max Muay Thai Stadium in Pattaya, Thailand. His opponent will be Mariusz Wach.
For 46-year-old “Waszka,” this is another opportunity to face the world’s absolute elite. Throughout his career, the Polish boxer has already had the chance to fight boxers such as Wladimir Klitschko and Dillian Whyte, and now he’ll add Tyson Fury to that list as well.
