Tyson Fury fought professionally since 2008. Today the former world champion of all leading federations unexpectedly conveyed that he has decided to end his sports career. The less than 37-year-old fighter gained real fame in 2015 when he defeated Wladimir Klitschko at the big gala in Dusseldorf.

In the following years, Fury repeatedly impressed by winning by knockout against such rivals as Deontay Wilder, Dillian Whyte and Derek Chisora. The Gypsy King ends his adventure in professional boxing with a series of two defeats in a row in clashes with Oleksandr Usyk.

Tyson Fury posted a short video today in which he addressed his fans.

– Hi everyone, let me be brief and concise. I would like to announce that I am retiring from sports . It was a lot of fun, I loved every minute of it. God bless everyone, see you on the other side.

Frank Warren promoter Tyson Fury, head of the Queensberry Promotions group, was very quick to comment on the former champion’s decision.

– God bless him, if Tyson really wants it. No one should influence his decision. He had an excellent career, made a lot of money, gave excellent fights, so now let him enjoy himself and his life. I just hope he doesn’t leave boxing and stays with it, only in a different role. I wish him a successful life in sports retirement. His decision came as a surprise to me, but if he feels that way, let him do it. Tyson has achieved great things, so now let him just enjoy life.
