UFC 308: Topuria vs Holloway – weigh-in results. Change of the limit in the Rebecki vs Orolbai fight

We present the results of the weigh-in before UFC 308: Topuria vs Holloway. There has been a limit change in the fight between Mateusz Rêbecki and Myktybek Orolbai.

Ilia Topuria and Max Holloway fit within the featherweight division limit at the weigh-in before UFC 308. Ilia Topuria weighed 65.8 kg, and when Max Holloway stood on the scales the indicator showed exactly the same weight of 65.8 kg. This means that the duel for the UFC featherweight belt was approved by the commissioners.

There was no shortage of drama during the weigh-in. Victor Hugo exceeded the allowable limit by more than 10 pounds, but his opponent Farid Basharat agreed that the duel, instead of in the cock category, should take place at the featherweight division limit.

The Mateusz Rêbecki vs Myktybek Orolbai bout also had its catchweight limit changed to 160 pounds (72.3 kg). In this case, it was not communicated which fighter was at fault, however, the camps quickly came to an agreement and the Rêbecki vs Orolbai fight will take place as scheduled.
