We present the results of the weigh-in before UFC 322: Della Maddalena vs Makhachev. Beneil Dariush exceeded the weight limit.

Today was the weigh-in before UFC 322 in New York. All participants in Saturday’s gala at Madison Square Garden had to appear on the scales to fulfill their contracted limits. Unfortunately, it was not a perfect weigh-in, and Jack Della Maddalena and Beneil Dariush, among others, had to use the screen.

The heroes of the evening’s fight, namely Jack Della Maddalena and Islam Makhachev, filled the UFC ‘s championship limit in the welterweight division. Della Maddalena weighed 77 kg while Makhachev weighed 77.1 kg. The clash has been approved by the commission and if nothing unexpected happens during the rehydration, we will see the fighters in the fight of the evening tomorrow.

Beneil Dariush has exceeded the lightweight division limit. The experienced American weighed 71.3 kg, and according to preliminary information, he will not continue to make weight, forfeiting part of his salary.
