The UFC chief has spoken out about a trilogy that would involve Alex Pereira and Jiri Prochazka. Dana White stressed that he will be watching to see what happens.
Jiri Prochazka scored a big victory at the UFC 311 gala in Los Angeles. The Czech defeated Jamahal Hill in a clash between two former UFC champions. Shortly after the win, Prochazka called for a third fight with Alex Pereira.
The aforementioned Brazilian was quick to comment on Prochazka’s performance on social media. Poatan congratulated his former rival on his victory.
– Great performance by Jiri, CHAMA.
Of course, another fight involving Alex Pereira was officially announced at UFC 311. The Brazilian will face the defense of his welterweight division title in a bout with Magomed Ankalaev. Perhaps Prochazka was unaware of the matchup or simply looked more into the future believing Pereira would win.
The topic of the Pereira vs Prochazka trilogy was addressed by the UFC chief himself. Dana White at a press conference after the Los Angeles gala said.
– I don’t know myself. We’ll see how it all works out with Alex now. I doubt people won’t want to see them fight again. So we’ll see what happens.
