UFC owners put the brakes on and won’t fund Dana White’s boxing project

UFC owners are not going to put up their own money for Dana White’s ideas and projects. Mark Shapiro president of TKO Group will not financially support investment in boxing.

It’s not a well-known fact that Dana White enjoys boxing fights however, he doesn’t get along with the people who currently create and manage boxing federations. The head of the UFC organization in late September during a conversation with reporters said.

However, if we ever enter the world of boxing we intend to do it organically, we will not buy any federations or merge with other companies. Simply put, we don’t intend to write a check. If we ever move forward with boxing promotion it will only be when the right partner comes along to sponsor it all and pay us for the work.
