Viktor Zalewski is setting his sights firmly on a fight with Andrzej Grzebyk at KSW 100. The young talent is happy with the juxtaposition and wants to win a championship belt in the future.
Viktor Zalewski was scheduled to return to the KSW cage at the KSW 98 gala, but had to withdraw from the event due to injury. The undefeated fighter will re-enter the KSW round cage at the Gliwice gala. Zalewski mentioned how his adventure with combat sports began.
– I’ve been doing sports since I was a kid, and when I have a better opponent, it motivates me even more to train harder. I started my first training at the age of seven with judo, and I’ve been pulling it off ever since.
Wiktor Zalewski has so far recorded three victories in the KSW cage. The 25-year-old defeated Robert Maciejowski, Kacper Koziorzębski and Adrian Zielinski consecutively. The talented fighter makes no secret of his ambitions, and although he is focused on his fight with Andrzej Grzebyk at KSW 100, he wants to reach for the KSW championship belt in the future.
– The goal is to win the belt of my weight category. For now, however, I have a fight with Andrew, who is taller than me and has a lot of arm range. My focus is entirely on this clash. I am happy with this juxtaposition. The greater the challenge, the better. I’m doing my job consistently and climbing slowly upwards. We will see what happens in the duel. Then I will continue to look ahead.
The Wiktor Zalewski vs Andrzej Grzebyk fight will take place on Saturday, November 16 at the KSW 100 gala in Gliwice. The duel has been contracted in the welterweight division limit.
