Yair Rodriguez and Patricio Pitbull faced off in the main card of the UFC 314 gala in Miami. The duel was contracted for three rounds at the featherweight division limit. For the experienced Brazilian, it was a debut in the UFC organization.
Yair Rodriguez has had many starts in the best MMA league in the world and has fought many times against top fighters. Patricio Freire is a former two-time champion of the Bellator organization, who finally joined the UFC at the end of his career.
