Quite unexpectedly, Yaroslav Amosov announced the fulfillment of his contract and parting ways with the Bellator organization. Gamrot, Dawson and Eblen immediately reacted.
Yaroslav Amosov a former Bellator champion who was undefeated for eleven years has announced that he is leaving. The Ukrainian has fulfilled his contract with the American organization and intends to move elsewhere. This is certainly not about the PFL as that organization absorbed Bellator and apparently the new owners did not see potential in “Dynamo.”
Yaroslav Amosov posted a lengthy post on his social media profiles.
– Friends, my contract with Bellator is over. It was an unforgettable six years. A time that will forever be etched in my heart. Thank you all, more fights will be announced soon! Unforgettable emotions when winning the title, even more when defending it, the first defeat in 11 years, the war in my homeland… but I’m sure it only made me stronger. It’s all a small part of a big story. This is not the finish line, this is a new beginning.
– I am ready for a new stage. There are new horizons and peaks ahead. My journey continues, I appreciate all those who have been, those who supported and those who doubted. The story doesn’t end, it just changes direction. See you in the octagon.
The fighter’s statement was immediately picked up by fellow American Top Team members headed by Mateusz Gamrot. ATT’s powerful team has no doubt where their sparring partner will end up. Johnny Eblen, Grant Dawson, coach Mike Brown, as well as the aforementioned Gamrot commented in unison: UFC!
Given Amosov’s brand and sports level, it is to be expected that all the strongest organizations will compete for his services and make contract offers.
