Zhilei Zhang and Agit Kabayel will face each other in a fight for the interim WBC heavyweight championship belt, the bout will take place on February 22 in Riyadh.

The clash that will open the event will be the Zhilei Zhang vs Agit Kabayel duel. The Chinese and the German will fight for the interim belt of the WBC Federation in the heavyweight category.
Zhilei Zhang (27-2-1) is the better known of the two fighters. Measuring 198 cm tall, Big Bang knocked out Joy Joyce twice and sent Deontay Wilder to the boards in his last performance. Zhang will have a height advantage over the German, however, the arm reach of both fighters is identical at 203 cm. Zhilei will definitely be heavier than Kabayel.
Agit Kabayel (25-0) is undefeated in professional boxing. Having Kurdish roots, the fighter holds a capital series of 25 wins in a row. Kabayel has won his last four bouts by knockouts. Agit is nine years younger than Zhang and should have a speed advantage in his duel with the big Chinese. Kabayel’s main weapon in recent fights were incredible blows to the torso after which rivals fell to the boards as if struck by lightning.
The Zhilei Zhang vs Agit Kabayel fight was contracted for twelve rounds. Boxing in the heavyweight division has no upper weight limit. Zhang weighed 128 kilograms before the last fight, while Kabayel weighed 108 kilograms.
