Editor: What are your roots in combat sports and what does GROMDA’s slogan “Back to the Roots” mean to you?

ZIOMUŚ: You are a GROMDZIARZ forever, not for a while, and there is no soft game. Just like in the old days, when boxing was still gloveless and no one wimped out – this in reference to the last gala, during which pseudo-fighters from another continent failed. In short, that’s why I think that gala No. 25 will be a return to the roots and everyone will fight to the end, no one will wimp out. As in the roots of the sport.

Fighting for the GROMDA federation belt was a surprising proposition for you? With you it is the sports class that counts, not the number of fights in a small ring?

The fight for the belt was not a surprising proposition for me, because after I defeated Rostock I was put together for an eliminator for the belt. I thank Mr. Mariusz Grabowski for such an opportunity. I fought Kiwi, with whom it may also have been a surprise to some that I won. But not for me. The number of fights doesn’t matter, since I beat fighters who were higher ranked than me and knocked zeros off their record. And it’s good that they don’t bet on me, it’s even more motivation to win this belt and prove to the unbelievers that the belt should belong to me!

What is your relationship with “LUTA”? The footage showed two buddies, but can you mate with someone with whom you are about to enter the ring?

GROMDA is governed by its own rules, first and foremost by the mutual respect of the players for each other. We’re not buddies, but it’s because of respect that’s how the recordings are. Everyone knows why he came here, what he wants, and what in the ring is one thing, and before the fight and after the fight is another! We do our job without sentimentality. This does not apply only to us, but to all GROMDZIARS.

LUTA announces that after winning the fight he will immediately call out the name of his next opponent…. Will you foil his plans?

There’s an old proverb: The turkey thought about Sunday, and on “Bloody Friday”….

Also, do you have an idea for an opponent in your first title defense?

I don’t, it doesn’t depend on me who will be the next contender. I don’t occupy my head with that, I’m 100 percent focused on this fight and winning the belt. When I get my way, then there will be plenty of time to think about it!

As a GROMDA fighter, have you gained popularity in your neighborhood, where you live? Are former enemies getting out of the way or looking for a fight?

My popularity has certainly increased thanks to GROMDA. I don’t give a damn what former enemies think! I don’t have enemies anymore, because I don’t look for them for myself, maybe also thanks to GROMDA. Because I need to focus on winning the championship, not on looking back.

What new things could GROMDA introduce, or for example, Team battles, but two-person teams? Then you Matthew with your brother Adam ZIOMKA in one team?

Team fights in GROMDA would be an interesting idea. I think my brother and I would create a team not to be outdone!

Which two rivals would you like to meet at GROMDA?

As I’ve said before, I’m not thinking about anything else except getting the GROMDA Nitro belt! There will be time for that when the belt is on my hips!

Is there something specific that you will spend some of the money earned for your victory at the upcoming gala on?

I think I’ll make a life for myself again with the money I earn. This is so tongue-in-cheek….
