Sean O’Malley criticized Conor McGregor

The champion of the cockweight division believes he will soon be the UFC’s biggest star. Sean O’Malley doubts that Conor McGregor will beat Michael Chandler.

During the media day before the UFC 306, Sean O’Malley criticized Conor McGregor. Speaking to reporters, the American said that he is already a star, and will soon be the biggest star in the entire UFC organization.

– I’m very close to that. I think Conor has only one big fight to go. However, you have to put a big question mark next to his name. Will Conor come back? Will Conor be able to beat Chandler? Overall, he only has one fight ahead of him.

Sean O’Malley criticized McGregor

O’Malley continued his statement about McGregor. The talented champion of the up to 62 kilogram category stated:

– If he enters the octagon and loses another fight it will be as if he lost six fights in a row. The hype for him just has to end at some point. It will simply be a test to see how big a star he is. On the other hand, I assume that he will come back, if he loses then I will be the number 1 star, simple.

What distinguishes O’Malley and how does he differ from the Irishman? Sean was very quick to point out the most important factor.

– I do the fighting. I just fight often. I think that’s the deciding factor. Conor was great on the microphone, he chose his words properly, he had that accent of his, well, and he scored some good performances. I am very consistent in what I do, in the results, in the frequency of fights.
